Confused about the ending of Eureka Seven: Pocketful of Rainbows?

Well I know that the backgrounds and story is different from the
original anime, Eureka Seven. So I watched the English version of the
movie, Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers, and I
followed around toward the end of the movie. After the events on the
Nirvash typeZERO (the scene right before the end) Renton and Nirvash
are in his home-town of Warsawa. Then this Eureka-look alike comes a
long. I know Eureka disappeared or something but I'm quite confused.

What happened?
