So I was playing my alto sax a few minutes ago and i smelled something
awful.
I then learned it was my mouthpiece. I forgot to sterilize it when i
first got it about a week ago.
It smells like sour milk. How should i go about cleaning it? I know
you are not supposed to put
a saxophone underwater. Does that go for the mouthpiece too? ( keep in
mind it wasn't the reed that
smelled bad it was the thing it was on) please tell me if you actually
play in your response. thanks.
